Jolene M. Conway Memorial – Athletic Bursary

The Jolene M. Conway Memorial Athletic Bursary was created in 2024 to help student athletes in their pursuit of excellence. Jolene was a beloved employee of SE Mutual Insurance and had a lifelong connection to sports. Never missing a game, she was her sons’ biggest supporter, and her passion for sports was contagious. Her enthusiasm inspired many parents to become more involved in their children’s activities. By recognizing individuals who embody sportsmanship, compassion, and commitment to personal development, this bursary stands as a lasting tribute to Jolene’s love and support in shaping the lives of all around her.

Jolene’s dedication to empowering young athletes left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Like Jolene, we believe that sports play a vital role in the development of young people, teaching them valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Through this bursary, we hope to enable more student athletes to pursue their dreams and achieve success in their athletic and academic goals.

In honor of Jolene’s legacy, two $2,000 non-renewable bursaries will be awarded annually to deserving student athletes who embody the characteristics listed below. We encourage all eligible students to apply and help us honor Jolene’s memory by continuing to inspire the next generation of young athletes.
