About the position:

SEM is actively seeking an Account Manager in Truro, Nova Scotia

Requirements of the position:

• Working closely with clients and prospective clients to analyze their needs, answer their questions and advise them on the right solutions to protect their most valuable assets
• Quoting and selling home, auto, business, and farm insurance to prospective clients and clients in accordance with sales processes and underwriting guidelines
• Identifying and suggesting additional coverages that benefit the client
• Achieving the company’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Qualifications of the position:

• Completed post-secondary education
• General Insurance License required
• Experience in the Insurance Industry would be an asset
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written), organization, time management, client service, decision making and problem solving
• Comfortable with technology and the use of multiple programs including the Microsoft Office suite
